When you book a flight on our platform, your payment routes through the airline's global settlement network. This is why the charge on your statement may show an unfamiliar name.
What you might see on your statement
- ARC (Airlines Reporting Corporation) — used for US domestic and many international tickets
- BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) — used for international ticket settlement outside the US
- The airline's name directly
This is completely normal. It means your ticket was issued against the airline's live inventory through a GDS, which is standard for all agency-issued tickets.
If you see an unfamiliar charge
Check the amount against your booking confirmation. If it matches, it is your flight. You can also check under My Reservations in your account.
If the amount does not match your confirmation
Contact Travel Desk immediately with your booking reference. Do not dispute the charge with your bank before reaching out to us.
Why flight refunds take longer
Because payments route through ARC/BSP, refunds pass back through the same network. Expect 7–14 business days — longer than hotel or car rental refunds.
